Stayed here for two nights. When we checked in, we were upgraded to room 322 because of our titanium status. The room was nice and big with a fireplace and completely separate sitting room. Bathroom was fabulous with two showers, a spa tub, and lots of room. The hotel is located right by a Walgreens and across the street from a McDonalds, TJMaxx, and grocery store which is convenient. The only complaint I have is not unique to this Courtyard. Every Courtyard that has a “bistro” gives you $10 voucher for breakfast if you are a titanium level which does not cover a cup of coffee and a breakfast off the menu. While it is a small complaint, Marriott should not tell you that as a platinum member you will get breakfast included and then not give it to you.

Frustrated! I checked in on Tuesday July 23rd at 4:30 pm. My Bonvoy Gold status was not acknowledged. They gave me the worst room, room 210, directly over the bar and facing the road. The TV had "Welcome Rochelle P" on it, which is not me. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper. I checked out as per my reservation on Wednesday the 24th at 7am, I had to be in Ticonderoga NY for 8:00. I go on my app to see my bill and download it for my accounting software and for some reason the front desk had not checked me out but added another night. I called the hotel and could not get a straight answer from them. I called Marriott Bonvoy and they opened a case for me. We'll see how this turns out but it was a terrible experience all around.

We had a large and comfortable suite that was very clean. Checkin and checkout were fine, though a little slow. Prices at the Cafe were higher than we expected, though the food was fine. Overall, one of the nicer Marriott Courtyards we have stayed at.

Comfortable bed with nice soft pillows. Convenient location, 6 minutes to Middlebury College. Easy parking. The hotel attracts work crews that turn on their diesel pickups at 5:30 and idle their engines while their crews assemble, making it hard to sleep in rooms facing the parking lot (like ours). The service and supplies in the room are eratic. Our room had no handsoap when we checked in and we used the available coffee and coffee cups which were not replaced. I guess I made 3 trips to the front desk to procure supplies. This ice machine on the second floor was broken (no sign) and not repaired during our stay. No central stairs, to lots of trips up and down a slow elevator.

This is a typical Courtyard Marriott that checks off all the necessities but not the place if you want ambience. The check-in and check-out were super easy. They offer snacks and drinks that can be charged to your room. Breakfast is not included but they do serve Starbucks coffee and have a menu for breakfast and dinner. Not sure about lunch since we were not around for that. The only negative was the parking which at the time we were staying were filled with huge trucks for some reason, making parking a bit scarce. I had to squeeze into a spot very close to one of the trucks.

During our stay there was a major snowstorm and we unfortunately needed to cancel our second night. The staff was so understanding. Everything during our stay was excellent, from the cleanliness to the accessibility to downtown Middlebury. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend to be with our son during college parents weekend. The hotel is located very conveniently close to the college. The facility has all the amenities you would need at a hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained, most importantly very clean. The only problem is that you need to book almost 11 months ahead of any special times such as parents weekend or graduation. The hotel also keeps a waiting list, but it is definitely a very long one and very hard to get. You are lucky if you can stay at this hotel.

I went for one night to attend my school reunion. I've stayed here many times before so realize the limitations. Unfortunately this town doesn't have another chain hotel or better competition. For some unknown reason they always say they're full, when I know that's not always true. There is a disconnect between the one or maybe two people behind the desk (who also have to run to serve coffee at the small bar area) and the actual rooms available that I saw online. My main complaint this time was the loudness of the young cleaning staff outside my room which lasted for nearly two hours. I asked the age of the girl who was complaining constantly and banging the doors next to mine and they said she was 15. Not sure about that since she's obviously not in school. It's expensive, no pool now and it doesn't have any competition unless you want to go to Burlington. They need better front desk people and also housekeeping staff that is attuned to the paying guests, who may need some peace and quiet. Not to mention there is no cleaning your room unless you require it. The final straw is that they messed up my points balance since I'm a "Silver Elite" which is a big joke. I'm not going to try to deal with calling to make my case.
